Norfolk  now residing in the Parish of Diss in the to wit   said County of Norfolk taken upon Oath before us Two of his majesty's Justices of
the Peace in and for the said County of Norfolk this 19th day of December 1814
The Examinant being Sworn and Examined, saith, That to the best of her knowledge and belief she is about 19 years of age and was born in the parish of Thrandiston in the County of Suffolk, where her father and mother resided but belonged to the Parish of Kenninghall in the County of Norfok, that about Whitsuntide four years since Mary the wife of John Styles of Diss aforesaid in tha County of Norfolk aforesaid great Aunt to her this Examinant sent to her to go and live with her as a Servant and accordingly she this Examinant entered into the said Service directly when she continued til the Michaelmas twelve months after nothing having passed between her and her aunt at the Michaelmas after entering the said Service and she farther saith that her Aunt promised her clothes, board and lodging but no wages, and that she was supplied accordingly with clothes as she wanted and she this Examinant futher saith that since leaving the said John Styles she has not served a year in any one place nor none any other but in the best of her knowledge and belief whereby to gain a Settlement and that she is now in ill health and cannot support herself without Parish relief.
